I first saw these amazing clocks at a craft fair. I thought they were a brilliant idea, so I tried to make one myself.
I found some wood cut down the grain at westonbirt woodfest. (sadly no longer running) then got the clock bits off Amazon or ebay, (I can't remember which now).
I had some issues trying to get the pendulum to swing within the hole I made!
I used an ancient pyrography set that was given to us by my partners mum.
Then I put lots of lovely shiney varnish over it.
Then I gave it to my Mum!
